Our Hopetoun and Yarriambiack Lodge residents have been embracing the spirit of NAIDOC Week this week.
Learning about Aboriginal symbols and what each means, our residents have enjoyed painting cardboard Boomerangs.
Working up an appetite, our Hopetoun residents also enjoyed some lemon myrtle scones kindly whipped up by Helen Robins using spice ordered from Outback Spirit.
NAIDOC (National Aborigines and Islanders Day Observance Committee) Week celebrates and recognises the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
