Our Movement Disorder Nurse is a highly trained Registered Nurse, specialising in Movement Disorders.
They can visit you wherever you are in the Yarriambiack Shire, whether this is at home, in hospital or in residential aged care.
The Movement Disorder Nurse works with you and your support system to promote a better understanding of your diagnosis and/or the range of a neurological Movement Disorder.
This may include, but is not limited to, Parkinsons Disease, Multiple Sclerosis and Motor Neurone Disease.
You are supported to self-manage your condition and maintain a meaningful quality of life, with the Movement Disorder Nurse working with you, and your team of medical and allied health professionals to help you along the way.
