Our Warracknabeal Ladies Auxiliary has once again demonstrated their unwavering generosity by making a significant donation to Rural Northwest Health, aimed at supporting patients and residents in need.
“Their thoughtful contribution includes a variety of comforting items for patients at the Warracknabeal Acute Ward and Urgent Care,” Executive Manager Clinical Services Joseph Bermudo said.
“Patients will benefit from colouring books, stickers, pencils, and word puzzle books, which are not only enjoyable but also therapeutic during their stay,” he said.
In addition to these thoughtful gifts, the Ladies Auxiliary presented a cheque totaling $1000.
“This donation has been designated as an Emergency Clothing Fund specifically for residents at Yarriambiack Lodge, ensuring that those in the community who require urgent assistance with clothing needs will receive timely support,” Joseph said.
“Rural Northwest Health expresses its heartfelt gratitude to the Ladies Auxiliary for their kindness and support. Such donations play a crucial role in enhancing the comfort and wellbeing of patients and residents, demonstrating the strong sense of community spirit that thrives in Warracknabeal and its surrounding areas,” he said.
“The impact of these contributions extends beyond material goods, offering reassurance and care to those who need it most.
