Raising awareness of the incurable condition, World Parkinson’s Disease Day is also an opportunity to raise much needed funds to support people living with the condition, improve their quality of life and support them to live better for longer.

The most recognisable symptoms are tremor (shaking), muscle rigidity (stiffness), bradykinesia (slowness of movement) and postural instability (balance issues and falls).’
If you are experiencing symptoms, please speak with your GP or call Parkinson’s Australia on 1800 644 189.
