The sun peeking through the clouds on Monday proved ideal weather for a rose pruning working bee at our Hopetoun campus.
It was all hands on deck for the working bee arranged by Norelle Huf who lovingly tends the rose garden, under the guidance of the RNH maintenance team, to ensure they are always looking their best.
Norelle was assisted by Phillip Roberts, Sue Afford, Michael Huf, and rose pruner Brian Matotek from Ouyen, as they set about pruning over 200 roses.
RNH thanks all who participated in the working bee. Without our wonderful volunteers who give so freely of their time we would not have such beautiful gardens. Thank you also to the Hopetoun Community Op Shop which kindly paid for the pruning.
The Hopetoun Ladies Auxiliary accepts donations, which are used to keep this wonderful area going for the enjoyment of residents, their families, and visitors.
