Congratulations to our Hopetoun Campus Leisure and Lifestyle Assistants Norma Decker and Marilyn Clancy whose dedication to the care and wellbeing of our residents was recognised during the Hopetoun Australia Day awards on Sunday.
Each receiving a Certificate of Appreciation for their “outstanding service to the Hopetoun community through (their) volunteering, dedication and commitment”, Norma and Marilyn who have worked for RNH for 29 and 27 years, respectively, were surprised by the recognition.
“This was such an amazing surprise,” Norma said.
“We both love our jobs and all we do in the community,” she said.
Commenting that while the certificates are in their names they are, in fact, recognition for the Hopetoun Campus team and RNH who have supported them both over many years.
“Hopetoun is very special and dear to us both,” she said.
Thank you to Lisa Magee at the Hopetoun Courier for the photo.
