Latitude Recruitment is seeking an Allied Health Assistant on behalf of Rural Northwest Health.
Allied Health Assistants work closely with the Allied Health team to support the range of services offered across Community Health, Residential and Aged Care settings.
They will work with, and support, consumers to complete their specific treatment plans, with a focus on maximising their independence and wellbeing.
This is a part-time role (56 hours per fortnight) on a fixed-term arrangement based at the Warracknabeal Campus.
About you:
- Qualifications as an Allied Health Assistant
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to plan and organise own workload to support the functions of the team
- Knowledge of standard infection control precautions and demonstrated application of these principles in the direct client care context
- Knowledge of health terminology that describes normal structure and location of major body systems
- COVID19 vaccination evidence
- Current Working with Children Check, or willingness to obtain one
- Current and valid Police Clearance, or willingness to obtain one
- Current NDIS screening, or willingness to obtain one
