Rural Northwest Health extends its congratulations to Warracknabeal Registered Nurse Jade Taylor, and team, who helped to raise $1,221 for suicide prevention on Sunday.
With last Tuesday (September 10) marking World Suicide Prevention Day, Jade signed up to participate in an Out of the Shadows Walk.
Joined by colleagues and friends, the team walked a total of 27 kilometres in remembrance of Jade’s daughter Tia.
“It was so healing and I’m so very grateful that we were able to help raise awareness and turn the worst day of my life into something positive,” Jade said.
“Thank you for shining a light with every step and being part of our national movement to prevent deaths by suicide and help save lives. Together, we are stronger,” she said.
