A beautiful, 8-foot tall Christmas tree has now been erected at our Hopetoun Campus, to the delight of our residents who excitedly helped decorate the tree this week.
It had been a dream of the residents to have such a lovely tree for the festive season and now, thanks to the generosity of the Hopetoun Op Shop, their dream has become a reality.
Standing majestically in the Cumming House lounge, the tree had our residents feeling like it was Christmas morning when they opened the box and shared their special Christmas memories, before switching on the lights making the room (and eyes) sparkle.
Further adding to the joy and heart of the season, the tree will have a decoration with each of our residents’ names on it adorning it this holiday period.
