Treatment combines targeted physical activity with education and ongoing support to promote long-term, healthy lifestyle changes.
Exercise Physiology services are provided through both individual consultations and group-based exercise programs.
Rural Northwest Health Exercise Physiologists provide a range of services, including:
- Individualised clinical assessments.
- Cardiovascular fitness and reconditioning.
- Programs to maintain and improve functional ability.
- Strength and conditioning programs.
- Assessment and training for daily activities and work tasks.
- Tailored community and gym-based exercise programs.
- Assistance transitioning to ongoing community exercise options.
- Long-term lifestyle support and preventative health education.
- Sport and recreational skill re-training.
Our Exercise Physiologists are University qualified health professionals, who are accredited by Exercise & Sports Science Australia (ESSA).
