Rural Northwest Health (RNH) is pleased to welcome Shannon Tobolov to its Board of Directors.
Ms Tobolov is an experienced Non-Executive Director and consultant with more than 20 years’ experience leading strategy, service redesign and digital transformation across the health, education and social services sectors.
With a background as an Occupational Therapist, Ms Tobolov brings frontline clinical experience in hospitals, aged care, and rehabilitation together with deep expertise in human-centred design, service innovation, customer experience and technology-enabled transformation.
In additional to her clinical experience, Ms Tobolov holds an MBA and has previously held senior leadership roles with Accenture and EY, advising government, not-for-profit and private sector organisations across Australia and internationally.
RNH Board Chair Dr John Aitken said Ms Tobolov’s depth of experience across clinical, strategic and leadership roles made her a valuable addition to the Board.
“With a clinical background as an Occupational Therapist and more than 20 years advising organisations on strategy and transformation at the highest levels, Shannon has a unique ability to see issues from both the frontline and the boardroom,” said Dr Aitken.
“This perspective will be invaluable as we continue to strengthen the services we provide to our community.”
Ms Tobolov currently provides independent consulting services and serves as a non-executive director of Life Without Barriers and CVGT Employment. She is committed to strengthening community services and improving outcomes for individuals and families and looks forward to contributing her experience to RNH.
Ms Tobolov said she was excited to be joining the RNH Board and to start contributing to the organisation’s future direction.
“I’m pleased to have joined the RNH Board, and I am looking forward to getting to know the team and the community it serves,” said Ms Tobolov.
“Rural and regional health services face unique challenges, and I’m keen to bring my experience in service design and transformation to help RNH continue delivering the best possible outcomes for the people who rely on it.”
Ms Tobolov attended her first Board meeting last week, and joined RNH’s Hopetoun Christmas in July festivities, where she had the opportunity to meet staff from across the service.
