We all know the feeling… you get a sudden craving for a snack, but there’s not much in the fridge that takes your fancy.
Fortunately for our Yarriambiack Lodge residents, that won’t be the case after they purchase new snack fridges, courtesy of generous, $2000 donation from our Auxiliary last week.
Leisure and Lifestyle Team Leader Bron McIntyre said as part of the work happening with the aged care reform, there will be areas set up within each aged care facility with snack fridges/freezers offering a variety snack and drinks for residents 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Making the snack choice even easier for our residents, the fridges will have glass doors, enabling them to see what’s inside.
