The Warracknabeal campus staff room was full to the brim this morning as the team gathered to farewell Financial Accountant Karthik, People and Culture Manager Gowthami, and Education Administration Support Office Varshitha.
Describing Gowthami’s rise to People and Culture Manager as “one of the fastest progressions” he’s seen, Executive Manager People, Culture, and Safety Glenn Hynes touched on how Gowthami started with RNH in payroll before moving into the people and culture team.
Showing appreciation, and thanking the trio for the kindness, compassion, and empathy they displayed in their interactions, he said all will be sadly missed.
This sentiment was echoed by Clinical Educator Céline Melican who paid homage to Varsha’s skills and knowledge, both in the education space and also IT.
Thanking CEO Jenni Masters, the executive and people and culture teams, Gowthami was appreciative of the support she had received over the years.
“You recognised the talent in me and taught me a lot,” she said.
“I have learned a lot and, although there have been highs and lows, I am leaving on a positive note knowing I have earned your respect”.
Karthik said he came to Australia to excel while experiencing a new world and that, while leaving RNH is an emotional time, he was excited to be pursuing a business career in Melbourne.
“I would like to thank RNH; I have earned the respect of my team and thank you all very much,” he said.
“What makes you a better person is your attitude and personality; if you maintain both of these, it can take you anywhere”.
