September was a busy month for our Hopetoun residents, who spent time connecting with the local community, both at home and out and about.
Towards the end of the month, a number of residents got out and about, visiting the SMCP Art Exhibition at the Hopetoun Powerhouse where they had artwork on display under the theme “Life in all its Fullness.”
One of our wonderful residents, Betty Turnbull, even had a piece on display that combined a photograph by Registered Nurse Jodie with wheat. Congratulations to all residents who had artwork on display, and a huge thank you to our wonderful Hopetoun team for making this possible.
We also welcomed Hopetoun Preschool back for their last visit of the term, and our residents and the children came together to create beautiful floral arrangements. The day was rounded out with storytelling and some active singing, plenty of laughs and joy all round.
These visits are always a highlight of our residents’ week.
