Financial Accountant

Warracknabeal campus is located, a short distance from Warracknabeal’s central business district and approximately halfway between Adelaide and Melbourne.

Latitude Recruitment is proud to partner with Rural Northwest Health to recruit for a Financial Accountant. The Financial Accountant is a specialist role, responsible for accounting processes from journal to trial balance, general ledger reconciliations and aged care compliance and reporting. This role will also be involved in processing acquittals, lodging grant applications and grant accounts reconciliations; and overseeing the billing and payments processes, cash management and the processing of resident fees, refunds and payments.

 The successful candidate will have:

  • Bachelor of Accounting, CPA qualification – advantageous.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and competency in utilising computer-based applications such as Excel; knowledge of Oracle would be an advantage.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven organisational and time management skills with ability to work to tight timelines and prioritise competing demands.
  • Current flu vaccination.
  • Current Police Clearance, Working with Children Check or willingness to obtain.
