JILL MULLER PRESENTED WITH THE INAUGURAL RURAL NORTHWEST HEALTH EXCELLENCE AWARD

The inaugural Rural Northwest Health Excellence award was presented to Mrs Jill Muller during the Annual General Meeting held in Warracknabeal on Tuesday evening.

Rural Northwest Health has been supported for a very long time by volunteers from the community who give generously of their time to visit residents, organise activities or undertake fundraising. The Excellence Award was created to enable Rural Northwest Health to celebrate individuals whose excellence in their dedication has a lasting impact to our organisation.

Board Director Carolyn Morcom presented Mrs Muller with flowers, a certificate and a photo board in recognition and appreciation for 36 years of outstanding voluntary service to the Ladies Auxiliary of Warracknabeal District Hospital and the Auxiliary of Rural Northwest Health.

The Auxiliary was established for the benefit and welfare of the patients, clients, residents and staff of Rural Northwest Health and previously the Warracknabeal District hospital.

Mrs Muller served 15 years on the Warracknabeal District Hospital Ladies Auxiliary committee and 21 years on the Rural Northwest Health Auxiliary committee, of which she is still an active member. Rarely did a meeting occur that Jill did not attend and she would often call past and pick up Marge McGinnis to ensure she could also attend.

Involved in many activities such as the Debutant Ball, Christmas raffles, visiting residents and providing gentle hand massages, Jill always happily volunteered and worked with the best interest of the residents, consumers and patients at the forefront.

“We would like to wish Jill all the very best as she continues to remain a dedicated, caring and valuable member of the Rural Northwest Health Auxiliary. We thank her so very much for her time and effort over these past 36 years, and we wish her many more healthy, happy years ahead, so that Jill can continue to enjoy her life and the things she loves best.” Said Mrs Morcom
