CELEBRATIONS AT RNH HOPETOUN CAMPUS
Mother’s Day at the Rural Northwest Health Hopetoun Campus was a wonderful day featuring a Roast lamb luncheon with all the trimmings enjoyed by residents and team members. Thanks go to all our cooks and those who helped to prepare this lovely meal.
A special three cheers to Hayley Smith who again volunteered her time with her apprentice to ensure that all the ladies were looking even more beautiful with their hair and makeup done.
It wouldn’t be a true Mother’s Day luncheon with sweets and entertainment! Alison Fischer kindly donated her time to sing to every one after dessert was served. Residents and team members took the opportunity to sing along with Alison and ensued a fun day.
Face Time’s, phone calls and visits to our special viewing room kept everyone busy ensuring that everyone got to keep in touch with families throughout the day.
And yes we had an afternoon tea of wonderful sponge cakes.
The RNH Hopetoun team would like to thank everyone who donated doilies and thank Cheryl Reid who sewed our bunting that will be a treasured talking point for many years to come.
Norma Croser and Shirley Scott have also recently celebrated special birthdays in the last two weeks rounding off the celebrations and lots of yummy food! Big thank you to Shirley’s lovely family who brought in afternoon tea for her to share with her fellow residents and the team members working.
