Jo began working with Rural Northwest Health in 2014, taking on several projects in a casual role. Those projects included bringing cardiology services to the region, developing Telehealth, roll out of KronosĀ and nurse practitioner programs and establishing community gardens in Warracknabeal and Beulah.

In 2016, she took up a position on the executive as the support services manager where she oversees the administration and supply services teams, along with HR and other internal projects.

Before joining the RNH team, Jo worked 13 years with the West Vic Division of General Practice which later became Grampians Medicare Local. Her role there was as the health promotion manager but also included project management.

Jo has also lectured Division One nurses at Ballarat University and worked in project management with Grampians Integrated Cancer Services. Her project led to the establishment of cancer resource nurses throughout the Wimmera and Grampians.

Jo has a Bachelor in Health Science, majoring in Anatomy and a Masters in Health Promotion and Business. She works part time at RNH because she is also busy raising a young family and involving herself in the family business.

Jo was initially appointed as executive manager of Support Services but took on a new role in 2018 as Executive Director of Community Health.
