CounsellingThe counsellor provides intervention plans with individuals, families and groups and offers counselling and psychotherapy. The counsellor’s primary focus is on the mental, emotional, and behavioural well-being of individuals, couples, families and groups. It centres on a holistic approach to psychotherapy and the client’s relationship with his/her environment as essential to treatment planning. This is based on and addresses the needs of the client/s or groups affected by life changes and other behavioural disturbances, to provide essential services in the environments, communities, and social systems that affect the lives of the people I support.
