Four month relief position

The Finance Officer is responsible for supporting Rural Northwest Health to comply and exceed with the financial reporting and management of Rural Northwest Health funds.

The position works with the finance team to ensure all income and expenditure is recorded in the appropriate accounts and payments are made as per Rural Northwest Health and legislation requirements.

Key responsibilities:
– Month end processes and journals
– General ledger reconciliations
– Assisting with year end audit
– Financial tasks and projects as required
– Oversight of organization finance systems including Oracle, KCS and Unity

Key selection criteria:
– Tertiary qualifications in accounting or finance
– Experience in public health funding and reporting requirements
– Knowledge of accounting and aged care standards and resident funding
– Demonstrated computer skills in Microsoft Office programs
