Our Beulah team is looking well.
Earlier this month the Beulah campus team set off to Halls Gap for team wellness activities.
Sue, Britney, Amanda and the other Sue arrived at Zumstein’s carpark and trekked off in search of Fish Falls. The walk to Fish Falls was pleasant with lots of little lizards about keeping Amanda’s heart rate up, thinking that they may have been a snake.
A breath-taking view welcomed them at Fish Falls where they replenished with fresh mountain water. After soaking in the view, the four girls mustered up the courage to walk through the canyon in search of Mackenzie Falls.
Braving the spiky trees and steps they ventured on. Just shy of Mackenzie, they enjoyed a snack with the sound of the water running past.
The sight of Mackenzie Falls welcomed them as they rounded the final rocks. Britney and Amanda enjoyed the mist while the two Sues made the quad-burning climb to the top of the falls and had a walk around before heading down again.
The walk back to Zumstein’s carpark was much quicker but still provided an amazing view. Sue and Sue braved the cold water and had a dip while Britney and Amanda weren’t as eager and just dabbled their toes.
The team enjoyed a lunch at the Black Panther Café and maybe a cheeky ice cream too before jumping back in the car and heading home.
They were very lucky to have such great weather and the ladies loved the walk too. The next walk is in the planning and hopefully within six 6 months or less.
