Janet has worked in the health industry for 20 years, including a decade at Stawell Regional Health as an executive in HR and acting CEO when required. Her role included support services and medical centre management which provided a close association and understanding of all spectrums of a health service workforce.
Janet is impressed with how Rural Northwest Health has evolved in recent times to become the very best. She wants to keep growing the service’s community development and continue with the directives of the board’s new strategic plan.
Janet is originally from Sydney but moved to St Arnaud with her family when she was a teenager. She immediately fell for the rural life and stared working in disability services.
She worked for nine years in HR with East Wimmera Health Service before accepting an executive position with Stawell Regional Health. Janet and husband David live on their Cope Cope farm with their three children Nicholas, Darcy and Isobel.
